2. Save the Date: National Postdoc Appreciation Week, Sept 19-23
Each year, the third week in September is designated as National Postdoc Appreciation Week, where we recognize the contributions our postdocs make to the research enterprise. In 2010, this week was officially recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives, and now organizations from across the world participate by holding special events to appreciate postdocs.
Stony Brook will be joining the national celebration, including a number of virtual events shared across the nation and beyond. Mark you calendar now for the kickoff plenary on September 19, 2022, at 1pm Eastern.
