Most Requested Recipe
AUSTRIAN CHOCOLATE BALLS
In saucepan, melt together:
2 SQUARES UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE
(8 rect. pcs in new packaging)
1/3 CUP BUTTER
Remove from heat and add:
1 CUP SUGAR. 1/2 TSP VANILLA.
1 EGG + 1 YOLK
After mixing spoon in :
1 1/3 CUP FLOUR
Shape into balls in palm of hand (2-3 dozen depending on size)
BAKE on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for
10-12 min. until bottoms browned
Meanwhile, wipe out saucepan and melt together:
1 SQUARE BAKERS CHOCOLATE
1 TBLSP BUTTER
Remove from heat and add:
1 CUP CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
1/4 TSP. VANILLA
3 TBLSP MILK
Dip balls into sauce before they cool
Reserve rest of sauce in the refrigerator for later batch. Micro until melted.

Cemetery News
Fall clean up of the Church Cemetery begins. Save these dates: August 13, August 27, September 10, September 24.
We will meet at the cemetery on Division St. at 10am and work until 12pm. Please let me know if you can come for one or all of the dates. Bring gloves and a rake if you have them.
If you are not up to doing physical work, come and cheer us on and pass out water.
