Join Us on the Weekend of August 12th, 13th, & 14th
Overlea ArtsFest is a free, family-friendly annual event celebrating local visual and performing art. Artists and filmmakers of all genres and levels of experience are invited to submit their work to our juried show, which is held on the second weekend of August every year at the beautiful Holt Park & Center for the Arts. A diverse group of performance artists, singers, musicians and spoken word poets are chosen to perform at each event, and free art activities are offered for kids of all ages.

- Juried Short Film Festival at the Amphitheater
SATURDAY, AUGUST 13 – Performances from 11 AM to 5 PM
- Juried Art Show on display

- Art Silent Auction
- Art on the Trail displays & scavenger hunts
SUNDAY, AUGUST 14, 2022 – Workshops from 1 - 3 PM
- Juried Art Show on display
- Plein Air Painting workshop for teens & adults
- Creative Writing & Poetry workshop for teens & adults
- Art as a Business workshop
- Young Artists workshop for kids & preteens
- Photography Lighting & Posing workshop for beginning photographers (at a nearby studio location)

Volunteer Opportunities at ArtsFest
Would you like to be part of a great annual event that brings fun and creativity to the community? You don’t have to be an artist to be an ArtsFest volunteer!
