Richmond City Council Meeting

The City of Richmond has hired in interim City Administrator and is currently seeking a permanent City Administrator. 

The City of Richmond held an open forum meetings on Monday, July 11th, 2022. Residents were able to provide feedback on options available regarding to police contracting. The letter sent to residents can be found on the website under C&C News. The City Council will discuss  the feedback and how the City will move forward at their next Council meeting on July 21st (Thursday) at City Hall. The meeting begins at 6:30PM and anyone wishing to speak not on the agenda will have that opportunity at the beginning of the meeting.


Jerry's Bar & Grill has opened with hours of
3:30PM-11PM, Tuesday - Sunday

Gilk Plumbing, Heating & AC is operating at their new location and will be having an Open House on August 3rd, 2022.

Richmond EDA (Economic Development Authority) and the their appointed Branding/Marketing Committee has passed to change the City vehicles decals to the new Richmond logo, and City Council gave their consensus to move forward with this project as well. 

The Richmond EDA offers Businesses the opportunity to apply for an Enhancement Grant which will  provide funding for improvements. The requirements, guidelines and details to apply and qualify for this can be picked up at  City Hall.  FYI: The application requires approval from EDA prior to project start.
