The Bridge Center Participates in Community Bag Program
This July, support the Bridge Center all month long! Visit the Winn-Dixie at 8601 Siegen Lane and purchase a $2.99 reusable Community Bag. For every bag sold, we will receive a $1 donation. The program makes it easy for customers to support critical mental health and substance use services in our community while supporting the environment.

In June, the guest presentations to the facility were 277, with 269 admits. The total number of guest presentations for 2022 is 1,451 and 1,412 for admissions. The Bridge Center has helped over 3,738 individuals since the facility's opening.

The New 988 Crisis Line Launches
Date: Saturday, July 16
What Is it?: 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Who Can Use It?: This dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022, and connects you to trained counselors for mental health and substance use.

Extreme heat has been associated with a range of mental health impacts, including increases in irritability, symptoms of depression and suicide. The American Psychiatric Association encourages everyone to take precautions and check on those who are vulnerable to the effects of extreme heat.
The Bridge Center for Hope is open 24/7. Help is available any time day or night. Anyone aged 18 and up can seek care at our facility. You do not need a referral.
