Through the World Café model Strengthening Families Georgia announces its new Community Café Facilitator Training. We are seeking individuals and organizations within Georgia to become trained on how to facilitate Community Cafés. The expectations of the facilitator are to host a minimum of 2 café series (10 conversations) for parents/caregivers of youth and for youth within the first 6-months of being trained. They will also collect and provide PCA Georgia with any pre and post-assessment data from participants that join their Community Conversations, providing any final reports detailing barriers, challenges, and wins throughout the project period. Participants will receive Community Café facilitator training virtually at no charge, receive one set of conversation cards for Parents of Teens and another set for the WOW talk Café for Adolescents, and technical assistance as needed. Facilitators for this program do not need a professional training background. Dedicated community members that have a passion for building strong families through the five protective factors framework are encouraged to apply.

Approved facilitators agree to participate in one of these virtual training sessions:
Thursday, August 11th, 9 am-3 pm
Wednesday, August 17th, 11 am-5 pm
Thursday, August 25th, 9 am-3 pm
