This Week's Meditation Suggestion:
From a Treatment by Rev. Trish Hall, from CSL Metro (near Washington DC)
In December, 1919 Ernest Holmes published Creative Mind in which he declared: "We have within us a power that is greater than anything that we shall ever contact in the outer, a power that can overcome every obstacle in or life and set us safe, satisfied and at peace, healed and prosperous, in a new light, and in a new life."
And, in the Science of Mind [1939], he went on to say "Our part is to be ready and willing to be guided into truth and liberty... All doubt and fear must go and, in their place, must come faith and confidence, for we shall be led by the Spirit into all good.
"People often say: "I don't know what to do; I don't know how to make a choice." ... We must realize that there is an Intelligence within us that does know."
In 1919, Dr. Holmes awakened us to the Truth - that there is a beneficial, beneficent power operating in the Universe and that that power is in us. In 1938, he clarified that that power is ours to use in alignment with Its nature and that it is at our disposal when we surrender to Its guidance. I particularly love his confirmation, "In so far as we are going to make this thing work, it is because we contact Universal Laws, which run through every age and race and which answer every person."
Today I speak my word on behalf of each who may read this prayer and even more broadly, I speak it on behalf of all creation. Now is a time of great awakening!
There is only One. It is the Life and Creative Source of all. It is in, as, around, through and throughout all that is. There is nothing apart from It. I am "of" It and what is true of me is true of all. Everyone and everything is an activity of the One.
I now, in full faith and total confidence, align with that in me that does know how to choose and what to do in all circumstances. Being Spirit-led, fear and doubt vanish and all apparent obstacles disappear. I embrace that all are safe, satisfied and at peace, healed and prosperous. In this new light, and new life, the Oneness of humanity is embraced, the kinship of all Creation is celebrated, and the fullness and richness of Life is experienced and enjoyed by all.
Gratitude in this realization arises within me and radiates from me. I release this prayer knowing that it is being fulfilled, now! And so It is!
