BUSY AIRPORT
There are times that the Perry-Houston County Airport takes on a regional setting. One Citation had just departed on 18 prior to the picture.

WHAT TO DO (AND NOT TO DO) IF YOU WITNESS AN AVIATION ACCIDENT
Accidents happen!  That is just one of the facts of life we can't dismiss.  However, if you are on, in, or around an airport, please be aware of certain rules.  Airport personnel only are allowed in and around the crash site.  They will monitor the situation and call for help or assistance if needed.  Airport personnel on the site must follow procedures set by airport guidelines, the FAA and the NTSB.  Debris caused by an unfortunate occurrence involving an airplane MUST be left in place and undisturbed until released by the FAA.  The aircraft cannot be moved until such release is obtained by the airport management.  Unauthorized observers could put themselves in danger from leaking fuel or damaged structures.  Moving a damaged aircraft after FAA release is a process best left to professionals, so while we appreciate the thought, please refrain from unasked assistance.  Observe?  Sure... just observe from a safe distance.

PERRY AIR OPEN HOUSE
Perry Air Flight School celebrated their new offices with an open house and discovery flights.  An overflowing crowd was present for most of the day.  Perry Air aircraft and instructors were quite busy with students and first-time flyers.
