COLT News Digest for July 19, 2022
Hi friend,

Last Friday, COLT staff took a field trip to Mudbone Grown Farm in Corbett, Oregon to join Black Oregon Land Trust (BOLT) for a morning work party. Donning sun hats and garden gloves, we planted lettuce and weeded the strawberry patch together as swallows swooped, Red-tailed Hawks soared overhead, and the resident dog roamed.

We're grateful to have spent the morning with our hands in the dirt, connecting with BOLT, the land, and each other. Thanks to Qiddist, Mia, and the BOLT team for having us! [Watch a video from our day

Being out in the field with our members fuels us. We'd love to spend more time outside with you this summer! Want COLT to join you for a volunteer day at your organization? Please reach out!

—COLT Team

NOTE: COLT's Executive Director Kelley Beamer is on sabbatical this summer from July 1—September 12. If you have questions while she's away, please reach out to our Interim Executive Director, Nick Hardigg at nick@oregonlandtrusts.org.
