About Dr. James Tuggle
After receiving his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Texas, Dr. Tuggle completed his first medical degree from the University of Texas, and his second medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
After graduating from medical school, he was fortunate to be able to do an internship working with patients with HIV, through the Ryan White Act. Dr. Tuggle did rotations with the Yaqui Indian tribe during school and was later hired to work with these wonderful people.
After these amazing experiences, he went into private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. For the last twenty years, Dr. Tuggle has focused on nutrition, exercise, supplements, and natural medicines as well as a prescription medication to treat a variety of issues.
In 2006, after receiving his pilot’s license, he was blessed to start doing medical missions with the Flying Samaritans. He typically tries to fly two missions a year, as a pilot and doctor to the medically underserved areas in Mexico.
