KREATIVWIRTSCHAFTSBÖRSE MODE 2022

Modedesignerinnen und Modedesigner, junge Modelabels und Studierende sind herzlich zur Kreativwirtschaftsbörse Mode 2022 am 13. September 2022 eingeladen.
Hier findet man Stoffe in geringen Abnahmemengen, lernt qualitätsbewusste Produzent*innen kennen und kann sich einen Überblick über die Produktions- und Servicestrukturen im Mode- und Accessoirebereich verschaffen.

Unter dem Motto From Contacts to Contracts präsentieren an die 25 Produktionsunternehmen und Zulieferer, darunter Lohnkonfektionär_innen, Zulieferer und Handelsagent_innen für Stoffe und Zubehör, Produktionsvermittler_innen, Textildrucker_innen und innovative Nischenproduzent_innen ihre Produkte und Leistungen.

Organisiert wird das Matchmakingformat von der Kreativwirtschaft Austria der WKÖ und der AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA in Zusammenarbeit mit der Austrian Fashion Association und der MQ Vienna Fashion Week.

Der Schwerpunkt der Kreativwirtschaftsbörse Mode 2022 liegt auf nachhaltig und fair arbeitenden Unternehmen aus Österreich und den Nachbarländern.

CRAFTING FASHION FOR POSSIBLE FUTURES

AFA Ausstellung läuft noch bis zum 8. September in New York

Mit Crafting Fashion for Possible Futures, kuratiert von Camille Boyer und Miriam Kathrein für die Austrian Fashion Association, wird ein umfassender Überblick über zeitgenössisches österreichisches Modedesign im Austrian Cultural Forum New York präsentiert. Die Ausstellung zeigt, dass Design das Potenzial für Veränderungen und eine bessere Zukunft in sich trägt.

Die 14 präsentierten Modeschaffenden und Labels erforschen und untersuchen in ihrer Arbeit Felder wie Identitätspolitik, Aktivismus, Nachhaltigkeit oder die Interdependenz von traditionellen Produktionsprozessen und neuen Technologien. Crafting Fashion for Possible Futures befasst sich mit ihren Arbeitsweisen und wie sie sich mit ihrer Verantwortung im gesellschaftspolitischen, soziokulturellen und sozioökonomischen Bereich auseinandersetzen.

KREATIVWIRTSCHAFTSBÖRSE MODE 2022

On September 13, 2022, more than 25 production companies and suppliers, including contract manufacturers, suppliers and sales agents for fabrics and accessories, production agents, textile printers and innovative niche producers, will present their products and services to an audience of fashion designers, young fashion labels and students under the motto From Contacts to Contracts.

The matchmaking format is organized by the Kreativwirtschaft Austria of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in cooperation with the Austrian Fashion Association and the MQ Vienna Fashion Week.

The focus of the Kreativwirtschaftsbörse Mode 2022 is on companies from Austria and it's neighboring countries, who operate sustainably and fair.

CRAFTING FASHION FOR POSSIBLE FUTURES

AFA exhibition runs until September 8th in New York

Crafting Fashion for Possible Futures, curated by Camille Boyer and Miriam Kathrein for the Austrian Fashion Association, presents a comprehensive overview of contemporary Austrian fashion design at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. The exhibition shows that design has the potential for change and a better future.

In their work, the 14 fashion designers and labels presented explore and examine fields such as identity politics, activism, sustainability or the interdependence of traditional production processes and new technologies. Crafting Fashion for Possible Futures deals with their working methods and how they deal with their responsibility in the socio-political, socio-cultural and socio-economic areas.

In order to keep the public even more up to date about the numerous activities of the fashion scene in Austria, the Austrian Fashion Association invites all creative people in Austria and those working in Austria to provide information about their current and upcoming projects.

Fashion and accessories designers, labels, stylists, photographers, make-up artists, artists and others working in the industry are encouraged to submit information about shows, exhibitions, shops, performances and other temporary events or permanent projects.

We are happy to share on this in the AFA Newsletter and on our other channels.

We are looking forward to receiving information and images, stating all credits, to press@afa.co.at.
