Hi Kids’ Power Up Kids and Parents,

I have to say, I feel like we’re almost running on empty, the low fuel light is on BUT I think we’ve got just enough left in the tank to get where we need to go. To use an over used sports cliche, by tomorrow at 4pm, we want to have “left it all out on the field.” The worn out patches of grass will help prove it!

Tomorrow morning, the Edmonton Food Bank will be picking up their boxes. At the moment, the grades 5 & 6’s are winning our little friendly competition to see what age group can fill up their boxes the most. The winning group gets to go into the carnival first. Let’s see if the other groups can give them a “run for their money”. At the end of the day, it will be families in need that will be the ones that benefit the most.
