The Joy of Positive Media
Dear Reader,
We are surrounded by negativity these days and the news sources, and everything else reaching us every day, is incredibly negative. One way of fighting this, is to go out and actually source some positive sources.
Recently we were exposed to three really important positive sources of media. The first one I heard about on the TV program 60 Minutes was the TV series called Ted Lasso. This is the story of an American football coach that was hired to go coach a British soccer team. He was set up for failure by circumstances, but through his incredible positivity and incredible human relations skills he built this thing up and there was a big surprise in the whole story. Incredibly positive. It's the brainchild of Jason Sudeikis and it's really well worth listening to, following, that series.
The second thing that is really positive is all the work from Focus on the Family. If you haven't listened to some of their broadcasts, or seen some of their media; it is really highly recommended, as well. Focus on the Family is there to make the family stronger, to make society stronger and to give us the resources to all work in that direction. An incredibly positive source.
The third, perhaps my favorite - and many of you have heard of this before, I'm sure - is the TED Talks. TED that stand for Technology, Entertainment and Design. They bring in those specialists from around the world to (within about 20 minutes) tell you about the latest and the greatest they're working on. It's exhilarating, it's inspiring and there'll be joy for you at the end of it.
So there you have it, three sources of great positive media. Fill your life with it this week and we'll see you again next week.
