My Church Family
Hello, Church! My name is Kimberly and, like many others, I have had my ups and downs with religion and the church as a whole. I struggled to find a church that felt like a home and that was welcoming enough for me to want to keep returning. The more I attended MCCLV, the more I saw all the good this church does for the community, such as providing grocery store gift cards and working with the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter. The staff and church members have become my church family and I want to ensure I have a place to worship at with them, which also requires funding. MCCLV is very transparent on where the funds go, which I appreciate. I am blessed to be in a place in my life that I can give to God through MCCLV regularly and do so directly through my employer’s payroll deduction program. Praise God for the opportunity to be generous (for those who are unemployed, underemployed, or just not in a place that they can give financially, please keep MCCLV in your prayers). Pride on the Riverside
MCCLV will be hosting a booth at "Pride on the Riverside" in Easton coming up on Sunday, August 14 (at Scott Park, 130 Larry Holmes Dr., Easton, PA 18042). MCCLV'ers are needed THIS Thursday, July 28 from 1:30 to 3:30pm as MCCLV hosts worship at Phoebe Nursing Home (1925 W Turner Street in Allentown, PA 18104). Help MCCLV serve street neighbors THIS coming Saturday, July 30 starting at 9am. Meet at MCCLV (1401 Greenview Drive Bethlehem, PA 18018) to prepare bagged lunches and then join in the distribution at the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter in downtown Bethlehem. It's a BIG Deal
It is a BIG deal - the Bethlehem Interfaith Group will be hosting a service at the annual Musikfest celebration and MCCLV will be featured at the event! Titled "Music of Faith & Hope," MCCLV will join other faith communities in offering sacred music to lift one's soul and spirit. You won't want to miss it on Wednesday, August 10 @ 3:30pm at Payrow Plaza (10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, PA, 18018)
