PRAYER
Ever-faithful God,
whose being is perfect righteousness:
reconcile us in your Son with the helpless and the needy,
with those we would ignore or oppress,
and with those we have called enemies,
that we may serve all people as your hands of love,
and sit at the feet of those
who need our compassionate care. Amen.

Announcements

MOEs will head to Altitude Trampoline Park on University Dr in Huntsville, Sunday, July 17th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Cost will be $20 (plus socks if you don't have them already) and is technically good for 3 hours with their Sunday special. If parents want to stay for the extra hour, you are welcome to. I'll be there from 2-4. Let Deacon Sara know if you plan to be there so she can watch out for everyone. If we can be there by 1:45, we can pay as a group. Please fill out a waiver (at the link below) ahead of time or come fill one out early at the location.

Kits and Quilt Drive to the Finish!

Can we break last year’s record of 3 TONS of aid? The boxes are piling up! And the sewing machines are whirring!

To help:

School supplies are on sale in stores now and this weekend is Tax Free Weekend in Alabama Purchase 70 ct. notebooks or 24 ct. crayons.

Help pack kits on Thursdays at 7 p.m. There are also projects that you can work on at home.

The Comforters can always use extra hands. They meet Tuesday mornings beginning at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The Kit and Quilt Blessing is Sunday 8/21 with a congregational school kit packing between services.

The LWR truck arrives at MLC the last weekend of August. Help is needed loading it between services on Sunday August 28th.

The 2022 Chancel Flower Sign-up Board has been reset for the new year.
(It is mounted on the wall outside the old sacristy in the Narthex)

Chancel flowers beautify MLC's Sanctuary for Sunday Services of Worship and are given to the Glory of God in memory or honor a loved one or special occasion of a MLC household / member.
The cost to sponsor flowers is $30 per household and includes an optional dedication of your choice. You will be given the option to take flowers home after the late service concludes.
Up to two households can sponsor flowers per Sunday.
