Thank you to everyone who made my time at home this summer special! As I put together this slide show, I was reminded once again of how full and sweet the time was. Thank you for your support, financially and through prayer, in making my time home possible and also making my return to the field possible.

What's next?

After a lovely two months at home, I returned to PNG 9 days ago. It's hard to believe, because in that short time I also traveled to one of our furthest away locations in PNG. I just returned from the Tigak Bible Dedication and am excited to share more about that with you in my next update.

Since my luggage hasn't arrived yet, I'm doing the best I can to settle in and reset-up my house. Thankfully, I'm able to stay in the same house again this year, and now, while I was borrowing all of my furniture last year, I have been able to purchase most of my own things. Praise the Lord with me for the generosity of the friends who let me borrow all of their things last year and for those who gave me some of their things when they left the field this year. I am so grateful.

This is the time of year, right before school starts when many people are returning to the field— those who went home for the summer, like me, and those who have been gone for a whole year. It's fun to be able to welcome people back, and I'm excited to have my first dinner guests this evening.

There are a lot of projects I wasn't able to finish over the summer, so I'm hoping to jump back into those this coming week. Pray for this new season to come, that I would rely on the Lord's presence, guidance and strength to bear fruit in my life and ministry.

Praises

Praise the Lord for a good time home in the US this summer.

Praise the Lord for my safe arrival in PNG and for the wonderful time I was able to spend at home. Please pray for the safe arrival of my baggage tomorrow.

Praise the Lord for the Tigak New Testament and that the people now have it in their hands! Praise Him that we (the guests) were all safe and healthy, and that I was able to get some photos of the event.

Prayer Requests

I was meant to be facilitating a ladies' debriefing retreat at Sobega at the end of July. We're working to find dates that will work better for more people. Pray that the Lord will provide a place for the retreat and bring together the right group of ladies to encourage and support one another.

Praise the Lord for His provision of funding to make the Eastern Area Ladies' retreat affordable for the ladies attending. Pray for the Lord's guidance in bringing together the logistics and that I will trust Him to bring together the right group of four ladies to attend.

Pray for me as I settle back into life and ministry here, that i would have a good balance of work and rest, and follow the Lord's leading when it comes to establishing my routine for this time around.

Pray for wisdom in what all to pursue and who to have over, over the next several busy weeks.
