Samaritans – Talk to Us day
Samaritans are here to listen to anyone who's struggling to cope, at any time of the day or night. Samaritans Awareness Day is 24 July and they have some useful tips on how to become a better listener and how to help someone open up to you if they are struggling at this time.

Working Well are challenging you to walk the distance between the seven host Commonwealth Games sites in teams of up to six from 28 July to 8 August.

Our new Nordic Walking group will be meeting at our Colchester Campus from Wednesday 27 July. Nordic walking is a low impact exercise that uses special poles to activate your upper body as you walk. We'll meet every Wednesday from 12.10pm to 1pm, but
you must book your place

Take on the Mayor's Big Run
Sign up to
take part in the Mayor's Big Run on Sunday 18 September and help raise money for five local charities - Next Chapter, Outhouse, Korban, AFiUK and Colchester Arts Centre. You can choose to run 5km or 10km or see how far you can get by entering the six-hour event.
