Dear LAS Families,

In this newsletter you will find information about the packing lists, a request for your student's travel information, and reminders about your visa applications, uniform orders and more. 

SEND YOUR TRAVEL INFO TO TRAVEL@LAS.CH
If your child is traveling by train or car, please send us the date and time of their arrival and the countries they will visit prior to their arrival.

If your child is flying, please send a copy of their confirmed ticket to travel@las.ch. Our staff will welcome new students at the Geneva Airport LAS Welcome Desk on August 22nd, and they will welcome returning students at the Geneva Airport LAS Welcome Desk on August 25th. 

LAS buses will leave Geneva Airport at the following times on August 22nd and 25th:

PACKING LISTS
If you need help figuring out what to pack for the start of the school year, Eric Turner (Director of Residential Life) has some suggestions for you.  You can learn more about what you'll need for life on our Magic Mountain in his letter here. VISA APPLICATION REMINDER
Please note that all students holding passports outside of the European Union, Japan, Malaysia, and New Zealand will require a Student Entry Visa to commence studies in Switzerland. The visa process takes time, so please submit your application to the nearest Swiss Embassy if you have not done it already. For instructions on how to apply, please refer to your acceptance package. If you have any additional questions about your visa application, please contact the travel office at travel@las.ch.

UNIFORMS REMINDER
Please make sure that you order your school uniforms as soon as possible. You can find more information about ordering your uniforms here.

ORIENTATION SCHEDULE REMINDER
Orientation begins on Monday, August 22 for new students and Thursday, August 25 for returning students. To review the full list of events and the most Frequently Asked Questions surrounding orientation, please take a look at the schedule attached here. 

SAVE THE DATE! PARENT ASSOCIATION GATHERING
This year, the LAS Parent Association is delighted to invite new and returning parents to enjoy an afternoon of light refreshments on Wednesday, August 24th from 15:30 - 17:30. We hope to see you there!
