In the Loop

 Introducing Curbside Haiku

Check out the newly installed haiku on the walkways of Downtown! To celebrate its first year of operations, Downtown Tulsa Partnership partnered with Magic City Books to decorate Downtown Tulsa with poetry communicating Downtown’s vibrancy and inclusivity. Designed by Tulsa artist May Yang, the installation will be on display for the next month.

Be sure to take a stroll around Downtown to admire the haiku, or check out the full list of incredible entries here.

 Celebrate Downtown Concert Series

You've got one more opportunity to catch live music in Bartlett Square! In celebration of one year of DTP operations, we are hosting concerts every Tuesday in July.

Our last concert of the month next Tuesday, July 26th features Papillon Parisen Cafe Musique, a local duo known for their light-hearted French melodies. For all the details on the lunchtime concert series, click here

 Tandy Student Success Center Opens

The new Tandy Student Success Center recently opened at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus in Downtown! The Success Center provides a variety of services for students at the college, including enrollment assistance, academic advising, and financial aid planning.

“It is critical TCC provides services to our students in a way that is not confusing or intimidating," said Dr. Leigh Goodson, president and CEO at TCC. "Every effort to remove a barrier, either physical or financial, increases student success and the number of graduates.”
