Course Spotlight:  Child Guidance

Positive Behavior Support for Young Children utilizes evidence-based strategies to promote social and emotional development and prevent and address challenging behaviors in preschool-aged children. Check out our latest update to the in-person materials for this course, Child Guidance:  Creating Caring Classrooms to Support Positive Behavior (2020), for expanded content that includes social and emotional development for infants and toddlers, plus a deeper dive into reflective practice and advancing equity. In this course, Gail Joseph PhD., Bezos Family Foundation Distinguished Professor in Early Learning, guides participants through the content step-by-step as they learn new strategies, see them in action, and try them out in their own learning settings.  Please visit our public course page for a complete list of available courses.  Alliance members may access full course materials from the member portal.  Courses are free to Alliance members affiliated with a teaching institution.  Join the Alliance today!
