Congratulations to the winners of the 2022 Shaun Tan Awards!

Winners have been announced for the Shaun Tan Awards. At the award ceremony, the judges commented on the diversity, creativity and talent from young artists around the state. The exhibition is in the final week at the Subiaco Library.

The City of Subiaco is proud to display the fifty exhibited final artworks from the 2022 Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists.

Be sure to pop down and vote for your favourite artwork to win the People's Choice Award for 2022. Artworks will be exhibited at Subiaco Library until Sunday 7 August.

FOGO is coming to Subiaco

The Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) bin system will be implemented by the City in 2023. The new three-bin waste system will divert more than triple the organic waste that currently goes to landfill.

Hay Street all day parking is open

A 47-bay carpark at 563 Hay Street is open, close-by and ready for use.

A short walk from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Lords Recreation Centre, parking is $10 per day, free after 5pm Monday to Friday, and free all weekend.

The Rokeby Road planter boxes are currently undergoing a trial reskinning with historic photographs of Subiaco. The City is now seeking your feedback on the future treatment of the Rokeby Road median strip. The survey closes at 5pm on Monday 21 November 2022.

Safe Active Street concepts are open for comment 

The concept designs for a proposed Safe Active Street project on Evans Street, Excelsior Street and Keightley Road in Shenton Park are now available for comment.

The proposal aims to achieve an attractive environment for people of all ages and abilities to ride and walk comfortably. Provide your feedback via the online survey until 9am on Monday 22 August 2022.
