The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE) has recently changed its name to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) as a result of recent portfolio changes.
As a result of this change, export documentation needs to be updated to reference the correct name.
Please see attached, the updated Organic Goods Certificate (OGC) template to be used for goods for export, prepared in accordance with the National Standard for Organic and Bio-dynamic Produce.
The only change to this document is the new name for the Department.
Please remove any existing OGC templates and replace them with this current version.
This change is effective immediately; any OGC’s submitted on an old document will have to be re-submitted on the new document.
Please note, this does not apply to any OGC applications submitted on or before the 19th of July 2022.
