We hope everyone is well and staying warm during the 'cold' Western Australian winter months.
Our property in Gidgegannup is getting ready to celebrate another Swiss National Day. The wood on the bonfire has reached lofty heights and will provide warmth and and awe.
'1st of August' Celebration / Swiss National Day
  
On the 6th of August, we celebrate Swiss National Day on our beautiful property in Gidgegannup, one hour out of Perth.
The shed is enclosed and we will have an industrial heater to keep us warm and our fabulous Swiss Alphorn players will provide entertainment.
The menu for the night is as follows:
Fleischkaese (Swiss Meat Loaf) / Beinschinken (Ham)
Potato Salad, Carrot Salad, Beetroot Salad, Green Salad and Corn Salad
Crusty Bread
The famous dessert buffet with shared byo treats is available for everyone.
The event is capped at 100 people, so it is recommended to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Costs are as follows:
Swiss Club of WA Members (over age 12) $25
Non-members (over age 12) $40
Children age 5 - 12 $15
Arrival is from 3.30pm and dinner is served at 4.45pm - the bonfire is lit at 6pm and the dessert buffet will open after that.
Detailed information will be provided after bookings and payments are received.
Bookings close on Friday the 29th of July or when capacity is reached
Memberships for 2022/23 are now due
We invite all existing members to renew their memberships - and everyone else to join us.
This ensures the ongoing viability of the Swiss Club and the maintenance of the property.
The financial benefits of being a member make it worthwhile and reduced costs for all our functions apply. These are the Fondue/Raclette, Swiss National Day, Samichlaus (free bag for member children), and any other events we hold.
Unless we have a Club, the above events will not be organised.
Fees are as follows:
Couple/Family (incl. children up to 18 years): $75.00
Single Person: $50.00
Couple/Family unwaged*: $55.00
Single person unwaged*: $40.00
*Unwaged means: Pensioner/Concession Card holders or full time students.
