Thriving Communities
The Thriving Community grant programme has invested £1.5 million in local groups since 2018. It has supported a diverse range of activities that help to reduce social isolation and improve physical and mental wellbeing. This year, in light of the pandemic, they are keen to support the re-introduction of in-person activities.
This funding can be used for:
- New or existing projects which strengthen community-based activity
- Staffing costs / overheads / volunteer expenses
- Continued delivery of projects or increased activity to meet demand

The £2 million Aftercare Funding Programme will provide grants for projects which will provide support services so that more people in recovery from gambling harm can rebuild their lives.

Movement for Goods Awards

Movement for Good Awards
The Benefact Group has launched a new round of their Movement for Good Awards to support good causes. Through the £1 million fund, the company will award £1,000 to 250 organisations from the second draw of the campaign which takes place in September. Members of the public can nominate charities online and winners will be selected at random.
Applicants will also receive a toolkit including social media resources to help them build as much support as possible whilst the nomination window is open.

Sovereign Housing Association #iwill Fund
Grants are available for projects which aim to involve young people from lower social economic groups in social action such as volunteering, fundraising and campaigning. The funding is being made available through the Sovereign Housing Association #iwill Fund and could be used for staff costs, development and capacity-building, volunteer and activity costs, and skills development/training.

Youth Music Trailblazer Fund
Grants are available for projects that support children and young people facing barriers to make, learn, and earn in music. The funding is made available through the Youth Music Trailblazer fund which supports organisations who want to trial work for the first time, test a new way of working, or disrupt the status quo - or all three.

Grants are available for equipment and to support projects that tackle loneliness amongst older people and adults with a disability. The funding can be used for day trips, outings and group holidays in the UK, activities, transport as well as equipment and materials.

McCarthy Stone Foundation

|
Funding is available to support older people facing isolation, loneliness, or poor health; young people who may be falling behind personally and academically; and communities in need of regeneration. The types of projects previously supported have included an intergenerational dementia allotment project, and the regeneration of a community space for a ‘shed’.

Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) provides grants for a broad range of projects that support the delivery of positive outcomes for blind and partially sighted people around their key funding themes across the UK. TPT is inviting charitable organisations to submit an application for new and innovative projects that will achieve a positive impact under our strategic priority, “Collaboration and Sustainability”.

Listening Fund’s Advisers’ Fund
Grants are available to organisations that are working to support young people aged 10-30 who have experienced injustice into positions of leadership.
The funding aims to allow organisations to create leadership opportunities that enable disadvantaged young people to shape their own strategies, support services and systems. It will target young people facing various issues, including those leaving care or experiencing homelessness, school exclusion, poor mental health, and sexual exploitation and abuse.
Deadline: 6pm on the 28th July 2022.
Funding: up to £40,000
