MOVE IT UP Team Updates

Reminders

Masks

  • Masks are to be worn at all times when Social Distancing is not possible. That includes all times at the Broadway Annex Building (except while eating or drinking), In the Van's during transfer, or while driving. Please limit your eating in the vans. Should you need to drink water please cover your nose and mouth immediately thereafter.

Nail polish

  • Nail polish can be worn if it can be easily wiped with Nail Polish Remover, it is not chipped and there are no appliques. Here is the hand hygiene policy. Iulian will monitor the presence of artificial nails.

Timekeeping

  • Please make sure that you continue to clock in and out from the computers at the Annex Building and select the cost center from your lists based on where your clinic will be located for the day. Please do not clock in sooner than 5 minutes before your scheduled time, unless you have approval from Monica Hatch, or Jose Lastra.  When inserting your Ecotime notes, please make sure to insert a single note per day if necessary.

Parking

  • Daily discounted parking permits can now be purchased for $2.32/day through ParkMobile. To park at UC Davis Health, manually enter zone #42201, which is valid anywhere UC Davis Health “B” parking is allowed. ParkMobile will eventually replace FlowBird. Click here to learn more about the ParkMobile program at UC Davis Health.

RPubs

  • The MOVE IT UP project has a dashboard (RPUBS) with all the information on our project’s vaccine and testing. Thanks to all your hard work, this week we surpassed over 5000 administered vaccines and 874 tests!

Daily Summaries
Revisions have been made to the daily summary surveys to continuously improve our testing and vaccine operations. Leads, please complete these after every testing and vaccine clinic with as much specific detail as possible-

Vans/Drivers/Passengers
Please make sure everyone is wearing their seatbelts. Drivers, please drive defensively! Don’t text, make calls, look at your phone, play with the radio, etc. Passengers, please don’t distract the driver. Be prepared for the unexpected.

  • In case of accidents, the glove compartment will have insurance and information on what to do. Please contact Monica immediately.

  • If there are issues with your vans, please make sure you let Monica know, please don’t call Enterprise.

Food & Drinks

  • Please do not eat at testing or vaccination tables or in vans- this includes registration. Make sure you have an assigned area for food, snacks, and drinks.  If you need to drink water, make sure you mask immediately after. Keep the vans clean and organized and all garbage taken out daily.

Safety

  • When you arrive at a site, please make sure you look at your surroundings. Check with site representatives and locate exits and fire extinguishers.

As always, please remember we are one team in every sense of the word. Whether we are loading, unloading, or taking down- let's do it as one.
