Your masjid congratulates you on the approach of Eid Al-Adha on Saturday July 9th. The IAR follows the official announcement of Eid Al-Adha date by Saudi Arabia, as do the vast majority of fiqh councils and the ummah worldwide in observing a unified Day of Arafah and Eid holiday.

The blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah start on Thursday, June 30th. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) encouraged us to take advantage of these holy days by increasing in our acts of worship: fasting, prayer, supplication (duaa), remembrance (dhikr), and all good deeds. Fasting is highly recommended, particularly on the Day of Arafah, occurring on Friday, July 8th.

Your masjid has selected Rohingya, Afghanistan and Yemen for Udhiyah/Qurbani this year to be done through Islamic Relief and Bdesh. The cost is $150 per goat. Rohingya, Afghanistan and Yemen were selected based upon the information provided by Islamic Relief and Bdesh. Many millions of fellow Muslims are facing chronic food shortages and some of whom are well on the brink of starvation.

The community is invited to gather at IAR every Thursday after Ishaa for an informational session on pressing issues our Ummah faces today and how they tie in with the core teachings of Islam.

Pray • Recite • Play

Youth ages 5 and older are invited to come attend Quran circles with community instructors and play at the Masjid on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between Maghrib and Ishaa!
