Join us Sunday, August 7 from 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. for hands-on Recycling and earn 2 service hours while helping sort batteries and other items that are hard to recycle. These are items the Environmental Collection Center offers as part of a free drop-off to all residents and partners with FISD campuses to offer it for students and teachers as well. *To join, all volunteers must have a verified Better Impact account and be at least 14 years old or you will not be able to participate.*

Join us Tuesday, September 27 from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for a training session to teach environmental education presentations to FISD elementary schools! If you've already completed the training, you do not need to attend a second time. The City of Frisco is partnering with FISD to help provide environmental education in elementary schools for trash and recycling. To be a presenter at an FISD school you will have needed to complete this one-hour training. All participants will have a chance to practice their presentation skills to peers and teachers. *To join, all volunteers must have verified Better Impact account and be at least 14 years old or you will not be able to participate.*

All volunteering will need to go through Better Impact. Each teen needs to register on better impact. Volunteers 17 years and older will require an annual background check. Any attendees to a volunteer event that have not registered with Better Impact will not be able to participate.
