We asked Sound Transit to tell us what's happened since the comments were submitted:

After the comment period closed in late April, the Sound Transit Board has been focused on reviewing the results of the Draft EIS analysis and comments from the public, agencies, and Tribes to prepare for a Board action later this month to confirm or modify the preferred route and station locations for the WSBLE project. The System Expansion Committee held a workshop to review the Draft EIS results on May 20th. The Draft EIS comments were then shared with the Board in late May. In June, an overview of comment themes was shared at the System Expansion Committee and Sound Transit Board meetings. All of the Draft EIS comments are now available online for review, together with a Draft EIS Agency and Public Comment Summary Report.

What's next?
On Thursday, July 14 from 1:30 to 4pm, the System Expansion Committee will again discuss the WSBLE project and may provide recommendations to the full Sound Transit Board to confirm or modify the preferred alternative(s).
On July 28, from 1:30 to 4pm, the full 18-member Sound Transit Board may then take action to confirm or modify the preferred alternative(s). As a reminder, the action on a preferred alternative(s) indicates a preference among alternatives, but is not the final decision or obligation.
In person: Ruth Fisher Board Room in Union Station, located at 401 S Jackson Street. Doors will be unlocked 30 minutes prior to each meeting.
Online: website. All meetings are recorded and will be uploaded to the WebEx livestream archive.
Interpretation in Mandarin and Cantonese will be available for in-person attendees at the July 14th System Expansion Committee. In-person and virtual Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation will be available for the July 28th Sound Transit Board meeting.

And then???
After the Board action this summer, we will begin to prepare the Final EIS, which will respond to comments received on the Draft EIS. We will also be reaching out soon after to talk with the community about the recent Board direction, next steps and to provide information on how to engage with us during the Final EIS process. While the Board process is the focus at this moment in time, we expect to continue engaging with you moving forward, building upon our engagement efforts during the Draft EIS comment period.
After publishing the Final EIS, currently anticipated in late 2023, the Sound Transit Board will select the project to be built and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will issue a Record of Decision.
