We are excited to kick off our La Piazza Academy Summer Camp Experience next week! Campers will participate in different immersive experiences, helping them to develop new interests, gain new skills and discover new strengths while enhancing their physical, emotional and intellectual well-being.
Our experiences include sports circuits, arts & crafts, international cooking and wacky science, providing campers with endless opportunities for summer fun, exploration and discovery.
Your camper has been assigned to the following group:

Important:all families must download the Brightwheel App and retrieve their unique Check In/Check Out code prior to starting camp. You can download Brightwheel by clicking on the following links; instructions for locating your code can be found below. This code will be required each time your camper is dropped off, or picked up, from camp.
All parents have been sent an email from Brightwheel to join La Piazza Academy. The easiest way to complete the sign-up process is to click the Create your Account button directly from the email, simply enter a password, and click Create Account.
If the email cannot be located, a new account can be created manually.
Complete the signup form and click Get Started - note: be sure to use the email we have on file.
Click Create your Account.
An email will be delivered with the subject line: brightwheel verification code: XXXXXX
Enter the confirmation code and click Confirm.
Summer Camp Policies and Procedures
Campers must be checked in to camp each morning, and checked out each afternoon, via Brightwheel. Parents, or the designated drop off/pick up person, will need to have the learner’s 4 digit Check-In Code ready. This can be found in the Brightwheel App:
On your main screen, click on the three menu lines in the upper left hand corner.
Click on “Edit profile” under your name in the upper left hand side.
Scroll down until you can see the “Check-In Code.”
On the first day of camp, please arrive during your designated drop off time (indicated above) and proceed to the Drop Off Checkpoint, either via the carpool or pedestrian lanes. Please have your camper's Check-In Code ready.
Health and Immunization Forms: As per Florida law, all campers are required to submit a copy of Form DH 680, Florida Certification of Immunization andDH3040, School Entry Health Exam before their first day of camp. If you have not done so already, please submit your learner's Health & Immunization records by clicking here.
All campers should bring the following materials labeled with their first and last name:
Water bottle (Note: For safety, we do not recommend metal water bottles)
Lunch and Snacks: Campers may enroll in our Lunch Program, or they may bring their lunch from home. We have refrigerators and microwaves in each class if needed.
Our Lunch Program is natural, mostly organic, and made from scratch in our kitchen daily. If you wish to enroll in the lunch program, please contact us.
All learners should bring their daily snacks. Children dismissed at 12:00PM should bring 1 snack; children dismissed at 3:00PM should bring 2 snacks; children enrolled in after care should bring 3 snacks.
Diapers, baby wipes for learners who are still potty training.
2 complete changes of clothes.
Napset, for learners PreK4 and younger.
*Please be advised that we are not allowed to apply sunscreen or bug spray to learners as per DCF guidelines. Please apply these to your child before dropping them off at camp.
