CCMR’s RBT Reroute Grant Update
The TrailCat mechanical crew has completed the BLM 3.8 mile segment and is now on the USFS segment. As part of CCMR's RBT reroute grant, volunteers provide handwork and have now completed the final cleanup from the Trailhead to Fox Gulch 1.4 mile segment.
RBT Reroute Workday - Saturday, July 16
Next Saturday, we need volunteers to do final cleanup on the 1.5 mile Fox Gulch to Pole Gulch segment. This will involve lopping roots from the trail tread, smoothing the trail berm, adding water drains, removing flagging, and cutting any hazard tree limbs. Good fun stuff but hard work. CCMR will provide tools. Those that want to can ride in on the first 1,4 miles to Fox Gulch (intermediate singletrack riders or above only). Other volunteers can carpool and drive into Pole Gulch, which is an easy one-mile ranch road. We will split into four or five-person teams.
Please RSVP to CCMR – CentralColoradoMountainRiders@gmail.com if you plan to attend and we will provide times, directions, etc. When you send your RSVP, let us know if you plan to ride in or drive in.
