Compliance Corner

No-cost extension requests for the FY 2021 Basic State Grant Award, and the CDC Funds to Expand Access to COVID Vaccines are due JULY 15, 2022.  For instructions on how and what to submit in your request, check out the following:

State plan revisions and updates for FY 2023 are due AUGUST 15, 2022

Please note there is no additional State plan update period this calendar year.  All State plan updates must be submitted by the August 15th deadline.  As a reminder, standard State plan updates are Council identification changes, Council member roster changes, Council staff roster changes, annual work plan updates, and the projected Council budget for FY 2023.  The link to the resource is below.

ITACC Email Survey responses are in!
 
ITACC staff would like to thank everyone who filled out our email survey.   Your thoughts and comments about the information we produce matter and will help us deliver content you want and need.  Here is what we learned from you:

 
  • The content is easy to scan and read.
  • People are likely to share the information with others.
  • Acronyms should be introduced before being used or used less.
  • People are excited to see information and they save the information for future reference.
  • A “catching” heading will entice more people to open the emails.
  • Receiving emails once per week is a good balance.
 
The “pain points” of our emails are “systems speak” and the email goes to a junk folder or is quarantined because it is labeled a marketing email. 

Based on the information you provided, we are making changes to our emails. Below are three changes you will see immediately:
  1. Weekly emails for outside the DD Council network learning and leadership opportunities will be sent through the ITACC list-serve.
  2. Improve the distribution timing:  The TA News Brief will be sent the 2nd Tuesday of each month and the Notable FAQ document will be sent the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Both will be delivered earlier in the day.
  3. Improve the subject line, use less acronyms and technical language.
