Having Difficult Conversations with Your Child

We were devastated to hear about the mass shooting in Highland Park.

These tragic events happen with relentless frequency and we hope that you are taking time to take care of yourself and your mental health, and to step away from the news when you need to.

We published this blog post last January, but we have updated it with resources that will help you talk about current events with your child. Please take care, and if you need additional support, contact us

Vaccines for Children under Five are Here!

The Oak Park Health Department is offering a weekly clinic for young children throughout the summer.

Vaccinating kids is the best way to protect them from the risks of COVID-19. Now, children as young as 6 months old can get the protection of a COVID vaccine. Schedule your child’s vaccination today.

You can do this by calling your pediatrician, or by attending a local clinic. These occur every Tuesday at the Cheney Mansion, 220 N. Euclid Ave. in Oak Park, throughout the summer.
