Project Manager

JO# 38692
Final Filling Date: 8/1/2022
JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager will work closely with Center leadership and provide programmatic oversight to two key grant funded projects within the Center:

The California Reducing Disparities Project (CRDP), a large uniquely innovative contract with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to provide technical assistance, training, and program evaluation services to implement the CRDP Latino Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) project. This project is in Phase II and it is part of a larger collaboration across the state which has recently been extended.  This project works closely with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) designated staff, and seven community-based organization (CBO) providers. Specifically, this contract aims to provide technical assistance and support to seven Latino Implementation Pilot Projects (IPPs) statewide. The Project Manager will play a key role in the planning, implementation, technical assistance, evaluation, knowledge management and dissemination for the CRDP Latino Hub and work closely with CDPH staff, the Statewide Evaluator, a Communication Specialist, and other State contracted Consultants, and UCD Contracted Consultants to support the success of the Latino IPPs and the CRDP Phase II Extension.

The Accountability, Coordination and Telehealth in the Valley to Achieve Transformation and Equity (ACTIVATE) project. In collaboration with the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS), UC Berkeley and MITRE, UC Davis’ Center for Reducing Health Disparities leads the Community Engagement component of the project, working closely with local community health centers to, via telehealth, improve access to health services among vulnerable populations in rural and agricultural communities. The goal of this innovative new project is to rapidly design and deploy an innovative, evidence-based, sustainable telehealth program that will benefit populations in rural and agricultural communities and that can be easily replicated and scaled across California and the US. In addition to day-to-day project management, budget oversight and supervision responsibilities, the Project Manager will work with colleagues and key stakeholders on project design, capacity building, implementation, and evaluation.
