T-minus nine days until the Friends of The Chicago Reporter 50th anniversary celebration begins! Nearly 200 people have registered—including alumni from across the nation and all five decades. It’s not too late to join us on Thursday, July 21, but we need you to RSVP.
The following day, on July 22, we’re convening a panel with inspirational alumni including Kevin Blackistone, Angela Caputo, Tonika Lewis Johnson, Ben Joravsky and Lucio Villa.

We’ll be gathering more material for our oral history project on July 22 where we will have an on-site StoryCorps station set up. We want YOUR classic Chicago Reporter tales. Banter with fellow alums is encouraged.
