Meet Chris Hicks! He taught this course Fall 2019 before it was cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. He recently went to Costa Rica to visit this past May and also lived there from 2014-2015 working with an intercultural institute in San Jose (as well as a couple years in Cusco, Peru). In addition to his Gateway responsibilities, he works with the Global Education Office on programs for upperclassman at partner universities around the world!

Gateway Greece

Meet Martha Sadler! This is Martha’s third year teaching Global Gateway, but first time teaching the Greece section.  Martha spent a semester studying abroad in Europe in college. Additionally, she has studied governance at the graduate level and is looking forward to spending time getting to better know the country where many of our modern ideas about governance originated! In addition to working with the Global Gateway program, Martha also serves as an administrator for Exchange programs with Chris Hicks.
