Over hoe we fysieke autonomie, macht(loosheid), (on)rechtvaardigheid, zorg en collectiviteit ervaren.

Body and Power(lessness) | Introduction
Olivia Laing & Willemijn Ruberg
Two books accompanied our theme this year. Everybody by writer Olivia Laing. We published the first essay from her book and later engaged in a personal conversation with her. The second book that gave depth to our theme is History of the body by Dr. Willemijn Ruberg. Our video team captured a fascinating conversation with her.

velvet leigh, Jules Sturm & Chet Bugter
Together with platform for contemporary art P–OST we organized an evening with writer and performer velvet leigh (ArtEZ DAI Art Praxis), and theorist and educator Jules Sturm (Zurich University of the Arts). It was an evening of performance and conversation, addressing themes of vulnerability, body, temporality and the chronic. And besides that, we talked with Chet Bugter (ArtEZ teacher Critical Fashion Practices) in a video interview about the question ‘How can you use your body as a research tool in fashion?’

Maxim Februari & Coralie Vogelaar
