VENDOR OFFERINGS

Academy High

Academy High is a forward-thinking independent high school dedicated to helping today's students develop critical skills that serve them throughout their lifetimes.

Academy High understands--and research proves--that the most effective, most meaningful learning happens when students feel included, supported, and engaged. We create the environment for this type of learning through our innovative curriculum, extracurricular activities and student-led clubs, internship program, and dedicated faculty to ensure the growth of all students.

Our students learn how to think critically, communicate effectively through written and spoken words, collaborate and work in teams, and interact with the community while tackling real-world problems.  Please stop by to learn more about our school and our new campus opening in Fall 2022 in Champaign!  We will be passing out axolotl tattoos and UV beads!

Prairie Rivers Network

We all work hard to create spaces for nature in our lives. But we face an invisible threat—pesticides. Pesticides are so widely used in Illinois on crops, lawns, and landscaping, that our environment is awash in toxic chemicals.  We encourage you to simply stop using pesticides (weed killers, insecticides, and fungicides) on your lawn.

Yes, when you stop using weed killers, a diversity of plants will begin to grow, including our state flower, the common blue violet. Dandelions, clover, and violets will not harm anyone, but weed killers do. The pollinators will thank you for encouraging biodiversity in your yard.  Our pollinators, water, pets, and kids deserve protection and a healthy environment!

Get your "Go Pesticide FREE" yard sign as thanks for your donation of $20 or more -- thank you!

Second Nature Honey

A light local honey from our Champaign hives graces our table this week alongside a dark Georgia wildflower from our own hives in the Appalachian Mountains.  Chocoholics beware, our chocolate honey is rich, sinful and completely natural.  If you don’t like chocolate (do you really exist??) our vanilla honey is made with organic vanilla beans steeped in tupelo honey.  Our cinnamon honey is delicately flavored with organic cinnamon.  Our hive product of the month is a limited quantity of honey cider vinegar made with local apples.  Don’t miss it!
