Meet CB Landy
Author of the Nettie’s Knit Shop Mystery series of cozies; with 4 books and one short story, and many more stories in the pipeline.
CB Landy lived in the Wairarapa for many years and draws on her experiences in the series. She enjoys delving into the life and drama of Thornbury, the small fictitious South Wairarapa town where the series is based. "It feels like the characters of the town have taken on a life of their own," she told us.
From attending several writing groups over the last ten years, she has now found her voice as an author.

What is a Cozy Mystery?
(Or Cosy for non US English)
Often referred to as "cozies", they are a subgenre of crime fiction in which sex and violence are downplayed or treated humorously, and the crime and detection take place in a small, socially intimate community.
The story is suspenseful, but not too scary; mysterious, but not exactly murder-filled. Perfect to read on vacation without freaking yourself out — even if you’re staying at a cabin in the woods.
