This is an outtake from Hannah Georgas' ALL THAT EMOTION sessions with Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift, Sharon Van Etten). This breezy summer song was first heard in 2021, exclusively in an episode of the cult TV show The Bold Type (Freeform/Hulu). We're releasing it as a single in time for the kick off of her American tour this month.

"Right Love" is on our short list of the catchiest singles ever released on Brassland. Streaming services seem to agree: Spotify put it on their All New Indie playlist and Apple Music added it to their key Indie/Alternative new release playlists.

Says Hannah: "The song was inspired by feelings that come up when you meet someone new that you have a connection with. It all feels exciting and fresh. You want to be in the moment and not get too wrapped up in things, but there's a small part of you that wonders if it could be something more than a fling."

Next week Hannah plays her first shows outside of Canada since the pandemic—a short run of club dates and an appearance at the SOLD OUT Newport Folk Festival.

Now's a great time to catch up with Hannah's entire cycle of releases on Brassland. It began in 2020 with her Aaron Dessner-produced record ALL THAT EMOTION. That LP came out a month after folklore, the surprise Taylor Swift album made with Aaron that went on to win the 2021 Grammy for Album of the Year. Hannah's cultural impact was more understated, but her music is just as powerful. She followed the record with a pair of complementary EPs in 2021.
