What's it like to live and work at a lighthouse?

Join us in-person at Parkgate Library on August 12 for the next event in our popular Life on the Coast series! Ray Des Harnais will share his experiences of living and working remotely – at a Lighthouse!

His work includes collecting historic sea water temperatures and salinity, monitoring marine radio and distress calls, as well as gathering weather data and much more. Learn more and register. 

Beat the heat with a family-friendly movie! On Saturday, August 13, we're watching Clifford the Big Red Dog (2021) at Parkgate Library.
