How to Request Technical Assistance
The Department of Technology Solutions (DTS) is working hard to provide employees with the best information technology support possible. DTS continually evaluates processes for better ways to support customers. As Tonya Sartin is the only dedicated full time support person on site, DTS asks that employees utilize UTK OIT support to assist with technology issues.

Dash Kick-Off Update
The DASH project continues to move forward with the official July 1 start date behind us. Be on the lookout for a DASH kick-off video announcement coming soon. You’ll be hearing from UT System President Randy Boyd, Chief Financial Officer David Miller and our campus chancellors about what is to come!
Much is happening behind the scenes as we start this transformation from IRIS to DASH. We are working hand-in-hand with our system integrator, Accenture, to target stakeholders and map out schedules for the blueprinting and design work that takes place in the coming months. Various kick-off meetings are being held with project leadership and process experts systemwide. Months of work have already occurred on the DASH project by statewide resources to successfully arrive at this point and we are excited to officially begin the implementation process.
The Friends of DASH site is the ultimate source regarding all things related to the DASH project. Become a Friend of DASH to receive important updates and new information about the project.

The UTSA Information Security Office (ISO) is excited to announce that they are employing AutoElevate which is a privilege management tool. This tool allows end users to complete their day-to-day work on their computer as a standard user, and when admin rights are needed, the user can request elevation to admin status. Most users will likely never need to request elevation, however the ability to do so will be available on all UTSA machines.
If you’d like to learn more about AutoElevate, please view the PowerPoint or complete the survey to sign up for one of the information sessions. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the ISO at iso@tennessee.edu.
AutoElevate will be moved to live status in mid-August; there are no actions that end users need to take to prompt AutoElevate into live mode.
