Encountering God. Community. Discipleship. Mission.
Will you help us write the story of Northridge Vineyard?
Over the last two weeks, we have had the privilege of hearing from Matt Gelding from Soul Survivor and Harry McKenzie in both our Morning and Evening services. It was so encouraging to hear their stories of pressing in and waiting on the Lord, even in the midst of difficulty.

Psalm 27:14  says ‘Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”

The call to wait on God is an invitation to trust and hope. It entails believing that one day — even if today is not that day — He will make all things right. In times of waiting, as we seek God in prayer, we must learn to listen to him as well as talk to him — to shut out the clatter and quietly wait as He unfolds to us His purposes, promises, and plans.

At Northridge, we strongly believe in the power of prayer within every season of our lives. If you have any needs for prayer, there are many ways that we would love to support you as a community, beyond our service times on a Sunday. Every week, anyone is welcome to join our regular Prayer meeting over Zoom (more information available here) to pray for the needs of our Church and the world around us.  We also have a Prayer Chain who regularly uphold the needs of our community in prayer (more information here). Please feel free to email any prayer requests directly to northridgeprayerchain@gmail.com

Focus

IJM Freedom Sunday

There are more people trapped in slavery than ever before in human history. Over 40 million children, women and men are exploited in an industry worth US$150 billion globally. People with hopes and dreams, who want their lives to matter, to mean something more - just like you and me! Slavery in our world is vast and brutal. But it is stoppable. Together.

IJM is the largest anti- slavery organisation in the world. As an organisation, they have rescued more than 50,000 children, women and men from slavery and other forms of oppression.

How can we help?
Freedom Sunday
Freedom Sunday is an opportunity to come together as a united, hope-filled, justice-driven community seeking to end human trafficking in our world.
On 21st August, we look forward to hearing from IJM in both our morning and evening services, and learning about ways that we can pray, give, and advocate for an end to slavery and violence in our world.

Ping- Pong- a Thon:
Join us in September for our fundraising Ping- Pong- a- Thon. This event is for men and women of all ages, and brings our morning and evening communities together under one cause: bringing freedom to the world's most vulnerable. The fun and freedom of table tennis is our weapon of choice to bring slavery to an end. When you play, people are freed. More details to come shortly
