How do you stay encouraged?
My unpublished novels are doing well in contests, but the waiting game, and the rejection emails, that my agent gets from publishers is discouraging. I had hoped that once I got an agent, the rejection process wouldn't be as intense. Haha! Help!
- Let me know if you're interested in joining my Shut Up and Write group. We meet on zoom every Tuesday and Thursday evenings to...you know, shut up and write.
- Need an accountability partner? I do. Working full time makes it hard to get the writing time I need. Sharing my word count with someone would be helpful.
- A margarita, a cup of tea, and dancing in my living room, are definitely in my future...not all on the same night. That would be a bit wild!
I'm open to your suggestions! How do you keep the faith and stay positive?
