NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS TOURISM HAPPENINGS

North Central Kansas Tourism represented our 20 counties at a special Media Day event this week - where travel writers, bloggers and media representatives learned more about all the attractions and reasons to visit North Central Kansas! Our booth included a host of characters representing hiking/biking and outdoor recreation, art and murals, local history, with special appearances by Cowboy Jim Gray, and Abraham Lincoln. We showed off our breweries, wineries, and coffee houses, featured all the area murals, and shared unique food and businesses with the attendees. Kansas Tourism and Visit Abilene Kansas hosted.

Lincoln County was represented with locally made Marcon Pies mini pie samples of all different flavors and Fly Boy Brewery & Eats sent along their Hotel Oscar Whiskey and In the Pines IPA to be sampled by the event-goers! Thanks for helping us show off some of the best of Lincoln County!

Get involved in North Central Kansas Tourism by following along on our Facebook page, visiting the explorencks.com website, or by joining the membership!

Consider becoming a registered Agritourism business

There's no better way to connect with your food, fuel, and fiber than by connecting with the people that grow it! Agritourism is all about that connection. Agritourism is a unique experience that combines traditional agriculture with tourism. Kansas agricultural producers tailor their operations to tourism, allowing visitors to participate in activities on a working farm, ranch, or at a lodge, outfitter, winery or other agricultural operation.
