August Member Newsletter

Hello <<First Name>> ,

Team Connect have been working flat out these last few weeks, creating #connections, identifying opportunities for our members, hosting our (fantastic!) July events and officially launching our partnership with whatimpact.

We're also shortly welcoming a UoR student intern for 6 weeks to join our team; all part of our commitment to helping young people into employment. You'll get the lowdown on socials once they've started!

Many of you may be gallivanting on your hols, but don’t forget to check out all our local gems! PLUS a chance to jump aboard one of Reading Buses’ fleet for a unique Networking experience like no other!

  • measure your ESG goals
  • advertise volunteering opportunities.
Sign up to our free training sessions and find out more about whatimpact

Volunteering Opportunities

If you're looking to volunteer, plan a team challenge day, or just get involved with something to benefit the local community, then our new volunteering opportunity pack is for you! Whilst we're talking about volunteering, don't forget to register for Reading RESCUE (22/09-01/10) to clean up Reading.

Business Members Callout

Alongside Alliance for Cohesion and Racial Equality (ACRE) and Reading Voluntary Action (RVA), Connect Reading have been commissioned by Reading Borough Council (RBC) to work on a new Vision for Volunteering for Reading.

Our part at Connect Reading is to engage with corporates to understand the corporate volunteering current position and needs. As such, we would love for you to fill out this very short form.
