Safety Updates - Life Jackets & More!

Lifejackets for Paddling - Kayaking & Paddleboarders: A friendly reminder that the USCG regulations state that all paddlers must have a USCG approved life jacket with them while paddling. Adult paddlers are not required to wear their lifejackets (but must have it with them on their board/kayak). Paddlers ages 12 and under must wear their lifejackets while paddling!  This past weekend the USCG rescued 3 adult paddleboarders in the Thimbles with no PDFs.  Let's all be safe out there.  Also, please make sure your kids wear lifejackets when on the SHYC docks, anything floating, and when boating!

Junior Programs - End of Summer Dates & Fun!

SHYC Club JR TENNIS Tournament - Sunday August 7th: All SHYC Green and Yellow Ball players are invited to participate in our annual SHYC JR Tennis Tournament.  Sign-up with Coach Steve to play doubles and/or singles against your SHYC tennis friends! Matches will be held at the Sachem's courts.  Steve will announce the times.

Junior Program Awards Dinner & Slideshow - Thrs August 11th at 6pm. Attention Junior sailors, tennis players, swimmers and parents!  Please join us on the back deck at 6pm for our annual program awards and slide show!
