Celebrate National Farmers Market with Us!
National Farmers Market Week is coming up next week, August 7-13! In celebration, the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market will host special programming at both the Wednesday 8/10 and Saturday 8/13 markets.
Wednesday Market event on August 10 8am-12 noon, featuring live music by the touring band Watkins (10 -12 noon), microgreens tasting bar by Petit Green Giants and tastings by UNCG’s health education Recipe for Success group. Thrive Coffee will have espresso and coffee drinks for purchase and vendors will offer tasty artisan baked goods along with the peak of the summer bounty: tomatoes, cantaloupes, corn, watermelon, beans and staples milk and ice cream (by the container or the scoop) from Homeland Dairy, eggs, meats, seafood, honey, baked goods, prepared family size meals to go, floral arrangements, plants and more. Patrons can register to win Market gift tokens.
Saturday August 13, 7:30am-12 noon. The celebration continues. Patrons can register to win Market gift tokens, enjoy free tastings via Recipe for Success, music on the lawn by band Buddy Ro and much more!
