FIVE SRC MEMBERS RECENTLY GRADUATED AT THE DUT CELEBRATORY AUTUMN GRADUATION
‘Promoting academic excellence’ were five Student Representative Council (SRC) members from the Durban University of Technology (DUT) who graduated at the DUT Celebratory Graduation Ceremonies held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) for the Durban graduates from 11 July 2022 to 20 July 2022. The celebratory graduation ceremonies for the Midlands campuses were held at the Royal Showgrounds from Monday, 25 July 2022 to Wednesday, 27 July 2022.

The Division of Corporate Affairs at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) saw two of its very own, dynamic Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students become ‘proud’ graduates at the DUT Autumn Celebratory Graduation at the Royal Show Grounds in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday, 27 July 2022.
They formed part and parcel of the 5421 women graduates who were conferred with their Advanced Diplomas in Public Relations and Communications, indicating that #girl power is alive and well at the institution.
EMERGENCY SERVICES PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE AT DUT CELEBRATORY AUTUMN GRADUATION CEREMONIES
The Durban University of Technology (DUT) played host to 35, successful Celebratory Autumn Graduation Ceremonies where 9081 graduates over 12 days were conferred with their Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Doctorates.
The event also saw diverse people coming from near and far to connect with each other in celebration and jollity of their achievements. With the presence of so many, different people, it can sometimes give way to a few medical incidents.
The Durban University of Technology (DUT) Celebratory Autumn Graduation ceremonies came to an end at the Royal Showgrounds in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday, 27 July 2022. A total number of 9081 graduates from the Durban and Midlands campuses were honoured for successfully completing their qualifications in 2021.
In his welcome address during the closing ceremony, the DUT Midlands Campus Director, Dr Joe Molete applauded the female graduates for dominating in the graduation, saying they might be taking their que from Banyana Banyana. He encouraged the graduates to continue making DUT proud.
