The ripple effect caused by unfair subsidies starts with the Entrepreneur not having the same access to compete and then the higher costs get absorbed by the consumer...creating an accessibility crisis.
Making one side have an unfair advantage is also not good for the economy at all.

Mark Van Hove - The first farm in Belgium certified Biocyclic Vegan
In October 2021, the organic farm ‘Bioboer Mark’ from Mark Van Hove in Bekkevoort (the Flemish part of Belgium) was the first organic farm in Belgium to receive the international Biocyclic Vegan Quality Seal for his herb and vegetable cultivation. This means that growers work according to an organic, plant-based farming method that does not use production animals and animal inputs.

Hardwick Farm Hack at Tolhurst Organic

A Day In The Life On Tolhurst Stockfree Organic Farm
In June this year, Cherry and Dan from the Vegan Organic Network paid a visit to Tolhurst Stockfree Organic Farm.
We met with Tamara and Tolly and their dedicated team to discuss how we might work together to promote VON’s Stockfree Organic Standards, and for Tolhurst Organic to rebrand and to become a Centre of Excellence for Stockfree Organic Farming and Veganic Food.
While we were at the farm we filmed some behind the scenes footage and got a little insight into exactly what’s involved day to day, to bring us the veg and produce we so often tend to take for granted!
Our mission is to be a world-wide movement of veganic farmers, growers, producers, consumers and supporters, which will raise awareness, influence policy and educate people about the principles and benefits of veganic agriculture.
