Summer news

We were delighted to welcome the Marches Stitch and Textile Art Group for their July meeting last week. Members were celebrating their first birthday as an independent textile group and enjoyed afternoon tea in the marquee on a glorious summer’s day. We very much enjoyed hosting the event and look forward to seeing them all again soon. The marquee is available for hire by groups until the end of September. Starting Silver Clay

Would you like to make pieces of fabulous silver clay jewellery similar to these? Why not bring a friend, enjoy some creative downtime and make some beautiful jewellery to take home.

You will be introduced to this exciting medium, learn rolling, texturing and cutting techniques, how to combine clay and fireable stones and how to finish your work to a high standard. Click here for full course details.

Pop-Up Shop

A reminder that our Pop-Up Shop in aid of our recently launched bursary fund will remain open for the next few weeks until the classroom is required for workshops. Thank you to everyone who has supported the shop so far, whether you have donated items for sale or purchased something from the wide range of stock available. The shop is open from Monday to Friday each week (11am to 3pm) until further notice. Do come and browse (no appointment necessary) and support our bursary fund if you can.

If you are visiting Burwarton Show on Thursday next week, come and say hello. We will be in the WI/Handicraft marquee as usual and would love to see you.
